Why chaotic alignment?

There can be a lawful assassin that fallows a specific code of conduct and values honor. Lawful doesn't make someone always obey laws (otherwise chaotic evil would not work at all). This is just my view, I am not sure if it is correct, but I think the alignment restriction should change.--Tisarugain 16:53, 24 June 2008 (MDT)

It seems to me that an Assassin who kills to improve his community would be more Lawful Neutral than Good. If you've ever seen Hot Fuzz, you would probably agree that the antagonists aren't good and are fairly lawful.--Foxwarrior 18:18, 5 October 2008 (MDT)

Lawful does mean you refuse to break laws. Definition of lawful good is that you feel that order is the only path to good, that laws are a must. Lawful evil definition means you strictly follow laws, but you exploit loopholes and don't hesitate to exploit people. I merely made an alignment requirment that made sense to me. To point out a fact, if you feel the alignment requirement is too strict, go ahead and and remove it for when you play. I know that in some of my games i was a chaotic paladin, according to SRD that can't happen.

False, lawful may break the law if the law are against his ideal. A lawful character believe in order (which may or may not be law). Lawful is tradition, honor, law, refuse to change. Only Lawful Stupid refuse t9o break any law no matter what. --Lord Dhazriel 18:33, 6 October 2008 (MDT)

Overpowered

This guy is way overpowered. His BAB is better then a level 20 fighters. His ref is godlike as well as having a high fort and will and he has way too many abilities as well as spells. He needs alot of work before he is anywhere near done. --Rajue 13:25, 4 October 2008

Oh my god, this class isn't clearly done. The saves and Bab are very odd , they are only three type of Bab: Good, Mid, Bad and 2 type of Save: Good, Bad. the class is overpowered as well. --Lord Dhazriel 18:30, 6 October 2008 (MDT)

kinda screwed up

Perhaps my comabat assassin will be better off if i classify it as an Epic Prestige. I was looking at some SRD epic prestige classes and it will work much better if i do it that way. Thanks for the input, it is a little imba. --Cerin616, Drew 18:32, 6 October 2008 (MDT)

Requirements make no sence...

The special for this Prestige Class requires you to first be a member of another Prestige Class of different alignment.

The alignment is any Chaotic, But the required Assassin class is any Evil. So you would have to be Chaotic Evil.

Personally, I think the requirement should be a Rogue trained in stealth with a mininum Sneak Attack damage and a feat or something that increases the Sneak Attack damage from d6 to d8. Like the Backstabber feat in 4.0e, I'm not sure if there is a simular feat in 3.5e or not. But also, I think the alignments for Assassins should be; "No Lawful, Any Chaotic" and same goes for the Rogue.
