Way of the Chi-Blocker

Monk Subclass

Monks have used Ki for generations, aging back to the beggining of the practice. But too often it is misstaken for magic. And some monks vow to change this, making it their vendetta to fight against magic and other arcane means.

Bonus Proficiencies

You gain proficiency in history and arcana. You have been trained in the history of your monastic tradition.

Spell Fighter

You have perfected a way of blocking spells from happening and locking away arcane means. At 3rd level, when a creature casts a spell within 30 feet of you and the spell has an effect that effects a creature other than the caster, you can use your reaction to spend 1 Ki point and pull up you hand and try to absorb the spell. If the spell is a cantrip, the spell is automatically absorbed.

When you use your Spell Fighter feature, you can choose to regain Ki points equal to the spells level. Once you have used this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

At 6th level, you have learned how to stop future spells. Once per turn, when you make an attack roll, you can choose to spend 1 Ki point to make the attack a Chi Block attack. On a hit, the target must succeed a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target looses one spell slot of your choice. The spell slot level can be of a level up to your proficiency bonus.

Quick Ki

At 11th level, your instincts have trained you to do certain things when you see a spell being cast. When a creature within 30 feet of you casts a spell, you can spend 2 Ki to use either your Patient Defence or Step of the Wind as a reaction before the spell is finished being cast.

Also, when you hit a creature with an attack, and that creature has to make a concentration check, it makes it at disadvantage.

Flow of Ki and Magic

At 17th level, you have learned how to redirect the flow of Magic with your ki, you may
