Rakshasa Bloodline (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
This Subclass is an adaptation from the Rakshasa Bloodline of Pathfinder (Bonus Spells, 1st, 6th, 14th benefits) as well as the Rakshasa from the 5e Monster Manual (18th).
Bloodline Spells
At 1st level, you gain the Primal Savagery(EE) and minor illusion cantrips. At certain levels you add the following spells to your list of known spells, but they do not count against the number of spells you can know.
Sorcerer Level | Spells |
---|---|
1st | Charm Person, Disguise Self |
3rd | Invisibility, Suggestion |
5th | Sending, Hypnotic Pattern |
7th | Charm Monster, Polymorph |
9th | Modify Memory, Dominate Person |
Silver Tongue
At 1st level, you can draw upon your outsider heritage to spin amazingly convincing lies and persuade the most stubborn of foes. You become proficient in Deception and Persuasion. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of those skills.
Mind Reader
At 6th level, you can gain the ability to read and influence minds. You can channel your trickster bloodline to read a creature's thoughts. You can then use your access to the creature's mind to command it.
As an action, choose one creature that you can see within 60 feet of you. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature succeeds on the saving throw, you can't use this feature on it again until you finish a long rest. If the creature fails its save, you can read its surface thoughts (those foremost in its mind, reflecting its current emotions and what it ie actively thinking about) when it is within 60 feet of you. This effect lasts for 1 minute. During that time, you can use your action to end this effect and cast the Suggestion spell on the creature without expending a spell slot. The target automatically fails its saving throw against the spell.
At 6th level, you can use this ability twice between rests, and beginning at 18th level, you can use it three times between rests. When you finish a short or long rest, you regain your expended uses.
Alter Self
At 14th level, you have learned to use magic to alter your physical form in more subtle ways. You can cast Alter Self at will, without expending a spell slot.
Lesser Magic Immunity
At 18th level, the Rakshasa blood in your veins protects you from magic. You can't be affected or detected by spells of 4th level or lower unless you wish to be affected. You have advantage on saving throws against all other spells and magical effects.
