  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

Monk electric bands are hardened leather strips that are fitted to a hand-to-hand fighter (normally a monk) to increase their effectiveness in battle. The wraps cover the knuckles, back of the hand, and palm; while wearing monk bands a monk is unable to use the gloves body slot for magical items. The bands can be manufactured of high quality (masterwork) and may be enchanted like other weapons. The monk bands do not naturally increase base natural attack damage.

Monk electric bands are a special monk weapon, allowing it to be used as part of a monk's flurry of blows. Monks are considered to be automatically proficient with monk bands. The bands also deal an additional 3d8 of electrical burst damage
