Large fiend, lawful evil Armor Class 18 (natural armor)
Damage Resistances bludgeoning, piercing and slashing from nonmagical attacks Hold Breath. The ammit can hold its breath for up to 1 hour. Trample. If the ammit moves 20 feet in a straight line before using its Bite Attack, and the Attack misses, the target must make a DC 16 Strength or Dexterity Save. On a failure the Target is knocked prone, and the Ammit can attack with Stomp as a bonus action. Swallow. While the ammit is grappling a Creature with its Bite that is Medium or Smaller, the Ammit can spend an action to Swallow its target. The Grappled Creature must make a Strength 16 Saving Throw or be Swallowed. While the target is Swallowed they are Blinded and Restrained, and have full cover from attacks and effect that come from outside the Ammit. On the start of each of its turns the Target takes 11 (3d6) Acid damage. If the Ammit takes 25 or more damage in a single turn, the creature is expelled from the Ammit, prone. Only one creature can be Swallowed at any one time. ACTIONSMultiattack. The Ammit makes two attacks; it cannot use it's Tail against the same target is uses its Bite, Claw or Absorb Souls attack against. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d10 + 5) Piercing damage, and the target is Grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends Ammit can't bite another target. Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5ft Hit: 27 (4d10 + 5) Bludgeoning Damage. Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: + 10 to hit, reach 5ft Hit: 27 (4d10 + 5) Bludgeoning Damage. Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: + 10 to hit, reach 5ft Hit: 27 (4d10 + 5) Slashing Damage. Absorb Souls. Ranged Spell Attack: 20ft cone. This attack originates from the Ammit's mouth, and cannot be done while grappling a creature. All Ethereal Creatures must make a DC 16 Charisma Saving Throw. On a failure they are sucked into the stomach of the Ammit. As well as being under all the same conditions of Swallowed the creature cannot be summoned from the stomach of the Ammit by any magical means, nor do they benefit from any Immunities or Resistance to the Acid Damage.

An Ammit is made up of a Hippo, Lion and Crocodile, the three biggest 'Man-eaters' of Egypt. It is a servant of Anubis, and devoured the souls of the wicked, impure and unworthy. |
