Beacon. A xog-ya magically emits bright light in a 60-foot radius, which shines even through magical darkness and solid objects. Within the radius, there are no shadows, creatures cannot take the Hide action or become invisible, and are revealed if they are already hiding or invisible.

ACTIONS

Positive Jolt. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 60 ft., one creature. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) radiant damage. This jolt can set fire to combustible objects.

A xog-ya is the body of a humanoid that was slain by the overloading bolt of a xag-ya, a creature from the positive energy plane. The victim's corporeal body completely burns away, exposing an interior shape of overwhelming radiant energy. They somehow retain a little of their personality and memory, but are overwhelmed by the compulsion to bring light to darkness, or burn away disease and decay.
Many xog-ya may be encountered at once, if a group of people tried attacking the xag-ya and were all blasted to death by positive energy.
