A fulgur skyfury is a fearsome combatant forged by years of training and prayer to its avian gods. Fulgur skyfuries are chosen from the ranks of ordinary soldiers by priests, and skyfuries are seen as holy warriors by their kin, as their power draws from their devotion to their gods. In battle, a fulgur skyfury enters a terrible rage in which its body is enshrouded in a veil of lightning, while tiny bolts leap around its eyes. |
