Shiga, Fox-folk

Personality

The Shiga are a naturally rebellious species, impatient and often whimsical. They hold a great loyalty for their companions, and a fevered grudge for their enemies.

Physical Description

The Shiga vary in relative size, but obviously all have a fur coat, a tail, and an angular snout. Coat patterns might vary but never stray too far from their original fox counter-part.

Relations

Some individuals might hold an unsolicited disdain for the Fox-folk, for no other reason than they being a Fox-folk. This is what me and the boys used to call racism back in the day.

Alignment

The Shiga are inherently chaotic.

Lands

As do most Fox-folk races, the Shiga derive much from Japanese culture, settling in a similar eastern respective.

Religion

Most Shiga hold an almost Gaelic sense of superstition, believing in nothing more than nature itself. This does not make up all of the Shiga however as a small portion worships the greater known deities like Olidammara.

Language

The Shiga begin the game with Common and Sylvan. +1 bonus language if Intelligence score is above 11. (And maybe Japanese if your DM is doing an eastern campaign, idk man, its your life my guy.)

The Shiga Fox-folk are given a both a Japanese first and last name, but are made to choose an easily pronounceable nick-name, or title, at the age of 16, for travelling to foreign lands.
