I believe the healer needs some kind of capacity to fight even if it just a dagger or something. I'm playing this class with a bard variety and trying to go for a right up healer and buffer but in my opinion I think all classes need some kind of capacity to fight. You even gave this class a starting weapon even through they aren't allow to do anything to harm another person so I found it weird and shouldn't be there... Julian24 (talk)

After thinking about it somewhat. I actually believe you are right. Before reading this, I was just thinking about how the Healer is meant to be a vague failure in a fight. But honestly, they shouldn't be. So a weapon like that does work. I'll be editing in the fact they have simple weapons in a bit. I played a Healer too way back, but found myself being stupidly tanky whilst the rest of the party struggled. So in a game. I'd give the ruling that you cannot attack anything that is not hostile. If you wish to edit the devoted healer towards that line, feel free. But there's been a lot of editing there already.

It's quite alright, I enjoy having other people's input. Just good to know that somebody is actually thinking about it- rather than the occasional ah yes. I want to give this class strong powers cause I play it. I would be greatly interested in how you tried to run the class though. Even if it's the bard style you mentioned.

Personally I had a Barbarian with the MI for Druid with goodberries.. then noticed the entire party of nearly all gunslingers were killing everything so fast. That my rage was useless, and swapped into this class. Basically becoming a field medic.
