Level: Epic

Binding DC: 40

Special requirement: Yes

Legend

Ariun was once known as Darius (or Dariun) Mana'Siev, a half-elf wizard who ascended to godhood. He was known for his great deeds during his lifetimes, including slaying the oldest azure dragon Khashashaptu, defeating Hlinctar the demonic overlord of Sloth, ascending into godhood and becoming a god of dreams and stopping Lord Bane from destroying the Hellish Abyss. Even though his deeds were many, he was never reverred as a hero, was largerly neglected and unthanked in his lifetime and few appreciated his deeds and skills. One of the few to unlock the secret of the LeShay, he was imprisoned due to his great power being considered a huge threat and faced a tribunal by the Duat. Of many of his companions only four tried to save him from judgment: his brother Lord Richter the Black Paladin, his great friend Kyonhir Many-Leaves, a recent acquaintance known as Vlach the Blue Sorcerer and Bazh the Goliath. Seeing that few tried to save him, Ariun concluded that not many of his known previous companions cared for him, stopped his would-be saviors and accepted the punishment. His sentence was not execution but banishment, into a plane that no one can reach by any means. Now he sleeps in his demiplane prison, and may grant his boon to binders he finds worthy.

Manifestation

Three closed eyes appear from the seal, forming a triangle. The eyes open afterwards, flashing a blinding light. Once the vision clears for a few moments, an azure-skinned half-elf with short, blue hair wearing a robe with decorations of moon and star shapes. His eyes are closed and on his forehead is a cross-shaped scar. He always smiles and talks merrily, finally having to talk to someone after a long time of imprisonment.

However if these actions are returned in unkind manner, you curse those you helped for all eternity and feel deep bitterness towards them. However due to your peaceful nature, you hold yourself to bring them no harm, knowing that fate itself will punish the ignorant and discourteous.

Granted abilities

Sight that banishes Lies

You can see through things as they actually are, and gain continuous true seeing ability, as the spell.

Aerial Wish

You can fly at a speed of 90 feet with perfect maneuverability.

Reflecting Penance

If a creature attacks you, you can open your eyes to stare straight at the attacker's. That creature must succeed a Will save or stops the attack and enters a catatonic state, reflecting on his/her past sins for a whole day. If this ability is used on a non-sentient creature (creature with below 3 Intelligence, such as animals, beasts and infants) the creature flees instead. If used on outsiders on a plane that is not native to the outsider's, the outsider is banished. If used on it's native plane it is destroyed. Undead and construct creatures are destroyed. After using this ability, your eyes immediately close again. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against this ability increased by 20.

Halcyon Creed

As long as your intentions are peaceful, you gain the following benefits:

- You don't need to eat, drink or breathe.

- You gain +1 deflection bonus to your Armor Class. This bonus increases by +1 for each five of your effective binder levels.

- You gain damage reduction 10/evil.

- You can act as if continually under the effect of a freedom of movement spell.

- You heal 1 point of damage per effective binder level per hour rather than every day. (This ability cannot be aided by the Heal skill.) Nonlethal damage heals at a rate of 1 point of damage per effective binder level every 5 minutes.

You lose these innate abilities if you willfully attack a creature by any means without good intentions. To regain these abilities you must remain alone in an isolation without any contact with a sentient creature for a whole day. If you help a non-sentient creature (such as animals and beasts) in a benevolent manner, the duration is decreased by one hour for each creature you help.
