False Appearance. While the fire vine remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary cluster of vines, except it is red.

Spider Climb. The fire vine can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Flame Engulf. The fire vine can take its true form, wreathing itself in fire, or extinguish itself as a disguise with a bonus action. While the fire vine is in its true form, a creature that touches or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 7 (2d6) fire damage.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The fire vine makes three attacks with its vines.

Vine. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) fire damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, the fire vine can automatically hit the target with its vine. The fire vine cannot grapple more than three creatures, and for each creature it grapples, it loses one attack for its Multiattack. If a creature dies from this attack, the fire vine implants its corpse with its seeds and a new fire vine rises from the corpse 1d6 hours later.

From Yu-Gi-Oh!

Fire vines are crimson vines with bright red leaves that grow around trees in large clusters. The vine slowly strangles its host tree as well as plants nearby, and so needs to survive on animals. Sometimes fire vines will take over entire forests, killing everything in them. They are particularly deadly due to being immune to wildfires, thriving and surviving the deaths of all other plants.

Predatory Plants. Fire vines are not sentient beings, rather they simply want food and to survive like any plant. Fire vine can be made by burning the seed of any vine like plant, planting it, and watering it with blood until it sprouts. Similar to flytraps, fire vines are widely considered carnivorous. When a fire vine senses a nearby animal it will "lunge" at that animal shooting out a tendril of itself. It then usually burns the creature to death with its incendiary powers before using its corpse as a breeding place for new seed.
