This fist-sized creature resembles a slug mixed with a hermit crab. Though oddly aggressive for such a humble-looking creature, it seems unremarkable to most wanders who might encounter it amid witch-infested bogs and misty mangroves. The most knowledgeable of sages will recognize the matte brown shell of the snail as what it truly is: a tiny bit of the carapace from the cataclysmic monstrosity, tarrasque. Indeed, the shell itself is seemingly invincible, and might even be supernaturally influencing the creature. Who knows how this little thing gained such a prized shell? |
