The roadrunner is a small, black-and-white, mottled ground bird with a distinctive head crest. It has strong feet, a long, white-tipped tail and an oversized bill. They are exceptionally quick runners and are much faster on the ground than most other birds.
Combat
Roadrunners run or fly away from potential threats, but can be quite courageous when facing their natural enemy: the snake.
Skills
In areas of dense undergrowth, roadrunners gain a +6 racial bonus to Hide checks.
Familiar Benefits
When taken as a familiar, a roadrunner grants its master a +2 bonus to Reflex saves.
