Twilight Elves[edit]

Personality[edit]

Most twilight elves are very calm, patient, and direct. They tend to keep their mind focused on the task ahead and keep order, though they are not unknown to create chaos in their ultimate goal to unite good and evil together under the twilight light. Some twilight elves don't follow these views, usually because they change their view from a major conflict in their life.

Physical Description[edit]

Twilight elves are born from ancestors with a wide variety of mixed blood, the backbone usually consisting of genetics from outsiders and elves up in their family tree. Though their looks can be as different as humans depending on their heritage, their hair and skin tend to take a wider variety of colors then humans. All twilight elves are born with wings. They are usually white-silver or black feathered wings, although bat and reptile wings are also seen now and then. Their wings usually undergo transformation to reflect the behavioral aspects of the twilight elf when growing up.

Relations[edit]

Twilight elves believe all living things have the right to exist and view all things as equal. They also believe that anyone that would take a life also has the right to be killed by any means necessary. They are idealists, not saints.

Alignment[edit]

Most twilight elves are true neutral but those that have strayed from the ultimate goal can be of any alignment.

Lands[edit]

Twilight elves can be found anywhere, so were a twilight elf prefer to live varies from elf to elf based on where they grew up.

Religion[edit]

Twilight elves can follow any god.

Language[edit]

Commen, elvish

Names[edit]

Twilight elves are given a name at birth and their names vary as much as that of humans.

Racial Traits[edit]

  • Humanoid (Elf)
  • -2 dex, +2 wis, +2 con. Less agile then their elven ancestors because of their wings but twilight elves have a heavier bone density instead.
  • Medium: As Medium creatures, wild elves have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Twilight elf base land speed is 30 feet.
  • Twilight elves have low-light vision and darkvision out to 60ft
  • Elven weapon proficiency: Elves gain proficiency with the longbow, shortbow and longsword at level 1.
  • Immunity to sleep spells and effects, and a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells or effects.
  • Wing-Aided Movement: Twilight elves can use their wings to

help with movement even if they can’t fly yet. The extra lift from her wings gives a twilight elf a +10 racial bonus on Jump checks.

  • Gliding (Ex): A twilight elf can use her wings to glide, negating

damage from a fall of any height and allowing 20 feet of forward travel for every 5 feet of descent. Twilight elves glide at a speed of 60 feet (good maneuverability). Even if a twilight elf's maneuverability improves, she can’t hover while gliding. If a twilight elf becomes unconscious or helpless while in midair, her wings naturally unfurl and powerful ligaments stiffen the wings. The twilight elf descends in a tight corkscrew and takes only 1d6 points of falling damage, no matter what the actual distance of the fall.

  • Flight (Ex): When a twilight elf reaches 5 Hit Dice, she becomes

able to fly at a speed of 60 feet (good maneuverability). Twilight elves can safely fly for a number of rounds equal to their Constitution modifier in combat (minimum 1 round). They can exert themselves to fly for up to twice as long, but then they’re fatigued at the end of the flight. Twilight elves are likewise fatigued after spending a total of more than 10 minutes per day flying. Because twilight elves can glide before, after, and between rounds of actual flight, they can remain aloft for extended periods (even if they can only use flight for 1 round at a time without becoming fatigued). When they reach 10 Hit Dice, twilight elves have enough stamina and prowess to fly for longer periods. They can fly at a speed of 60 feet (good maneuverability), and flying requires no more exertion than walking or running. A twilight elf with flight can make a dive attack. A dive attack works like a charge, but the twilight elf must move a minimum of 30 feet and descend at least 10 feet. A twilight elf can make a dive attack only when wielding a piercing weapon; if the attack hits, it deals double damage. A twilight elf with flight can use the run action while flying, provided she flies in a straight line.
