Sovereign of Dawn[edit]

The Sovereigns of Dawn are One type of Duhl Oemenni, specifically representing the descendants of people possessed by spirits representing certain powerful aspects of the human conscience.

Physical Description[edit]

In bright light, dawn sovereigns possess a faint, but visible aura, typically a shade of gold or silver. Their eyes tend toward unusually vivid, metallic colors, with violet, green, and gold being the most common. Otherwise, they resemble attractive, intense-seeming humans.

History[edit]

After the Visitation, a multitude of wayward spirits returned to the world from the Verge. Many of these came to possess objects, animals, and people. Possession left nothing unchanged; not mind, nor soul, nor body. The results of these possessions were sometimes called Duhl Oemenni (“spirit people”) in Fortuous, the first language of the Second Days.

Society[edit]

Sovereign of Dawn Names[edit]

The Sovereigns use the same naming conventions as whatever region they are found in. Though, in the Lake regions, they seem more apt to employ the local custom of giving oneself a title relevant to his or her personal history. ("The Old Forester's Warden", "Knife-Hunter", or "The Laughing Priest")

Sovereign of Dawn Traits[edit]
