  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

The Hidden Blade is the weapon of choice for the Hashshashin and is made up of a wrist holster and a spring propelled blade. As a Free Action the blade is sprung forward, and due to the quick action and concealed location the first attack made with the Hidden Blade treats the foe as Flat-Footed. The blade must be retracted for at least three rounds to gain this bonus again. Treat as a Dagger with a Locking Gauntlet. While hidden, an opponent can spot the Hidden Blade by succeeding at a Spot check verses the player's Slight of Hand check, which has a +10 Bonus.

If the character has Death Attack, the Hidden Blade opens up new options. The standard Hidden Blade adds 2 to the Death Attack DC, and Death Attack may be done without studying with a -4 Attack Penalty. The Improved Hidden Blade costs thrice as much and requires the removal of the ring finger on that hand, which costs 5% Arcane Spell Failure and -1 Hit Point. In exchange, this Improved Hidden Blade can be drawn as an immediate action (thus allowing it to be used during an Attack of Opportunity,) adds 3 to the Death Attack DC and a Studyless Death Attack may be made at a -3 Attack Penalty.
