Animated shield in all its glory.

The animated shield is typically a shield that tends to stick around animated armors and flying swords, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. It rarely works. If that fails, it will attack without mercy as all it wants is to stay nearly invisible. If an adventurer picks up an animated shield, they can expect a few days of good use before the shield realizes what's happening and leaves them.
