Discrepancy[edit]

I do like your version of what a nephilim would be, but you’ve completed altered what this is. A copyright would have been better, along with grammar and fluff. I know numerous ideas of the same race is undesireable, but I find this case to be worth seperate articles. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 00:20, 28 April 2018 (MDT)

Yeah, I saw your message. I've reverted it back to the original Nephili_(5e_Race) and updated the redirects. --ConcealedLightThis user is an administrator (talk) 06:56, 28 April 2018 (MDT)

Article Spotlight[edit]

An article with interesting history! Back in 2016, an anon user started this page with inspiration from the novel series, The Shadowhunter Chronicles and specifically The Mortal Instruments. In April of 2018 it was hijacked and turned into something entirely else which is typically frowned upon since a variant should have been done. Moving on though....
This page does encompass the general relationship between celestial (angels) and humans that is found in fiction. The part of the mother dying is a morbid take but possibly influenced by the TV show Supernatural. The WANTED aspect for the nephilim is also traditional in the sense angels and demons always think these beings to be more powerful or prophesied to drastically changed the scales of the fight. The traits are good and balanced. The celestial heritage table really gives the race fire power to do something more than resist stuff and "fall with style" (~Buzz Lightyear). I really enjoy the quote used to display the sort of feelings higher beings would have towards this race. It kind of gives DMs/players extra outlook beyond how the fluff describes it. The addition of a sidebar and image are really nice too and help bring that official touch to the page.
If this page were to be expanded on, I'd suggest tying the ranks to something or removing them. They don't serve a purpose in the lore, mechanics or description. kudos 10:10, 6 February 2020 (MST)
