This sword is much like a rapier, exept that it has a wider, stiff blade. It has a slightly curved blade, one cutting edge, and a rapier like hilt. It's construction is like that of a Katana, but the blade is about one meter in length, and two and a half centimeters wide at the base. It is lighter than a Katana, and is balanced perfectly for fine control of the sword. because of this, you can use the Weapon Finesse feat, even though it isn’t a light weapon. You can’t wield a Dueling Katana in two hands in order to apply 1-1/2 times your Strength bonus to damage. This weapon is a rapier for the purpose of class abilities.
