Strategies and Tactics

Ageing Touch (Su): Once per round, a wailing virgin may attempt a special touch attack. If the touch attack hit, the creature must succeed a will save or age to the next age category. Even if the target succeed the save she still age 3d4 year. If a wailing virgins kill a creature with this ability she gain is healed by 10 point per creature HD. A creature who succeed it save against this ability become immune to it for 24 hours.

Darkcold Claws: A walling virgins attack with terrible claw-like hand. Cutting through flesh with unnatural cold and cutting through life force with negative energy. A wailing Virgin Darkcold Claw deal 2d10 + the Wailing Virgin Charisma modifier. Half of the Darkcold claw damage are cold and the other half is considered negative energy.

Mist Aura (Su): A wailing virgin create mist by it very existence, a aura of 60 ft. mad of mist surround a wailing virgin at all time. The mist is similar to Fog Cloud spell. The mist can be suppressed for 1d4 round by any fire spells. The mist is unaffected by Dispel Magic or similar spells.

Mist Sight (Su): A Wailing virgin gain Blindsight 120 ft. as long as she stay in mist. She cannot detect creature outside the mist however.

Terrible Wail (Su): Once each 1d4 round a wailing virgin may unleash and powerful and terrible wail. Every creature within 30 feet of the wailing virgin must make a DC18 Will save or be Paralysed for 1d4+8 Round. Each creature who make it save is immune to the Terrible Wail of that particular Walling Virgin for 24 hours.

Sample Encounters

Three Wailing virgin ambush the party while they peacefully travel through a forest. The Mist soon fill the air and blind the PCs.

Ecology

Environment: Wailing Virgins dwell in haunted places, they are the ghost of Good-Aligned person sacrificed to dark forces. Wailing Virgins are common in dark temples (abandoned one) or in generally haunted forest.

Typical Physical Characteristics: Wailing Virgins are similar to ghost, but larger and more fearsome. Wailing virgins generally have female humanoid torso and face. But their hand is armed with terrible claw-like hand and their legs were shrewed to pieces. However many of them wear long robes, hiding their mutilated lower body.
