Before the Great Fall all those centuries ago, the world belonged to mankind. They had a great, globe spanning society and performed feats of marvel without the benefit of magic, purely through their own ingenuity. Today they are still a proud and ambitious race. Most have forgotten the what came before, and the dark times that followed, and look only to the future they have set before themselves.

Human Racial Traits

All humans have the following abilities:

  • Medium: Humans are Medium creatures, and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Normal Speed: Humans have a base speed of 30 feet.
  • Bonus Feat: Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
  • Skilled: As they advance humans gain an additional skill rank at each level.

In addition, humans gaim the following abilities based on their subrace:

  • Mixed Descent: Humans of mixed race gain a +2 to an ability score of their choice and may select an additional class skill at 1st level.
  • Cadian: Cadians gain a +2 to intelligence and charisma, and a -2 to wisdom. They are quick of mind and tongue, but have a history of giving in to temptation. Cadians gain perform as a class skill, if they already posses it as a class skill they gain a +2 competence bonus to it.
  • Imperial: Imperials gain a +2 to wisdom and charisma, and a -2 to intelligence. They are strong of will and personality but the church discourages many forms of formal learning in favor of pious introspection. Imperials gain religion as a class skill, if they already posses it as a class skill they gain a +2 competence bonus to it.
  • Citizens of the Republic: Republic citizens gain a +2 to constitution and a +2 to dexterity, and a -2 to charisma. They are rugged and light on their feet, but can be gruff and suspicious. Republic citizens gain perception as a class skill, if they already posses it as a class skill they gain a +2 competence bonus to it.
  • Badlanders: Badlanders gain a +2 to strength and constitution, and a -2 to intelligence. They are strong and hardy but tend to be backwards and ignorant. Badlanders gain survival as a class skill, if they already posses it as a class skill they gain a +2 competence bonus to it.
