  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

This is a full body shield much like a Tower Shield that was used in many German states for duels. It is different from the Tower Shield in that it has a pole behind it, rather than just a handle, with a spike on either end. This can be used as a two handed weapon but not a double weapon. It can make a shield bash two handed. It can be used as a Tower Shield in addition to all other respects two handed, and is exactly like a Tower Shield one handed. Can be modified to include "throats and hooks" for tripping and hooking (not disarming) the other persons shield. The hooking was used to set the other persons shield aside for a thrust, though this would have no in game effect. This makes the weapon a "Throated Hooking Shield" and costs another 10gp. You can drop this weapon to avoid being tripped during your own trip attempt.
