I believe this should have a copyright tag for Monster Hunter on it.
Planned Rework[edit]
Although this class uses spellcasting in a unique way, it fails to encapsulate what makes someone who uses a hunting horn unique, melodies. Melodies would buff up their allies while still allowing those who use the weapon to wade into melee after the buffs have been received. As such, I plan to rework this class into either a few bard subclasses or entirely rework the class so it has a unique mechanic in melodies and is a half spellcaster with a custom spell list as opposed to just having spells from certain schools of magic from another classes spell list.--Blobby383b (talk) 14:17, 11 December 2019 (MST)
- Some of the other reasons why I want to rework this class include the fact that currently this class is just another full spellcaster who can wade into melee a bit but isn't really that effective at either of it roles. The class's damage output through its attacks is somewhat low and a bard or other spellcaster can use both more supporting spells and damaging spells than you(horn hunter shouldn't need damaging spells though). In addition, many of the current features in the class and subclass are a bit out of place and don't fit the theme of the source material the class was drawing on or what the class itself should have been able to do(buff your allies a lot and wade into melee combat and be effective).--Blobby383b (talk) 15:00, 11 December 2019 (MST)
