Personality

Gruff and reserved the Shokan place value in strength and honor.They also prize magic weapons, belts, bracers, rings, amulets and other finely made items that boost their combat abilities.

Physical Description

These large four armed half dragon/half human warriors of great strength are known for their skills in unarmed combat. There are two racial variations of Shokan: the Royal Draco Clan and the Lower Class Tigrar Clan.

Average height of a Shokan male is 7'0. Average female is 6'6.

Weight averages 425lb.

Skin Tone: Human-like skin tone with occasional green or fiery orange scaly areas on the back (Draco) or a Tiger-like striped patterned skin (Tigrar)

Relations

The Shokan look down on all races who they see as weak. They respect strength and for this reason the shokan get along well with large creatures (ie. giants, goliaths) as well as some other stronger medium creatures (ie. half orcs)

Alignment

The Shokan are almost always Lawful Evil. They are never Good.

They follow the most powerful among them, following his laws so long as he brings victory and prosperity to the clan and race.

Religion

The Shokan rarely are religous but those that are usually worship Hextor the god of war

Names

Racial Traits

  • Ability Score Increase: +6 Strength, +6 Constitution +2 Dexterity
  • Large: As Large creatures, Shokan take a –1 penalty to Armor Class and a –1 penalty on all attack rolls. They also have a reach of 10 feet.
  • Improved Unarmed Strike: Shokan are masters of hand to hand "kombat". Both racial variations can do Unarmed strikes for lethal or non-lethal damage. Tigrar Shokan can do claw attacks. Unarmed Attacks and Tigrar Claws deal d6 damage.
  • Fireball/Fire Breath: Shokan can use a Fireball attack (range of 20 feet) for 4d6 damage 2 + Character level times a day and a Fire Breath Attack (20 foot straight line) for 6d8 points of damage up to 1d10 times a day. A successful Reflex save (DC 10 + 1/2 Shokan’s racial HD rounded up + Shokan’s Con modifier) reduces damage by half.
  • Shokan base land speed is feet: 40
  • Shokan Wrestling/Four Armed Grab: +10 Racial bonus to all grapple checks as well as does not provoke an attack of opportunity (this replaces Improved Grapple)
  • +2 climb +4 intimidate
  • Armor Class: Natural Armor increases by 4
  • Darkvision out to 60 feet, low light vision
  • Multiple Limbs: Shokan have four arms and can take the Multiweapon Fighting and Multiattack feats
  • Automatic Languages: Common, Draconic, Shokan. Bonus Languages: Giant.
  • Favored Class: Monk
