This is my first attempt creating a full class. It is mostly based upon existing material, but I've tried to make it unique. The page was purposely designed to look similar to the Pyromancer Class. I've decided to make a spell list from scratch, instead of using a existing one. --Padeiro (talk) 18:53, 11 March 2019 (MDT)

Edits

I've done a bunch of edits based on revisions.

  • I've changed the wording in the Ice Barrier feature, it should work like the Arcane Ward feature, but was poorly worded, it was the reason for this class d4 HD(Since the barrier makes the Cryomancer Hit Points equal to 2d4, making it a little better than a d8).
  • Unshattered Will got its additional effects replaced by another, slighty buffing the Cryomancer's cap feature.
  • The additional feature of Unshattered Will was moved to the 11th level feature, substituting Dance of Ice and Blade.
  • The Dance of Ice and Blade feature's effect became a Titanic Endowment feature, being an additional effect to Freezing Strike, that buffed the former as part of its effects.

I have also decided to maintain Cryomancer weapon and armor proficiencies for flavor, but if you think I should replace it for the basic spellcaster proficiencies I would like to know why. --Padeiro (talk) 12:45, 18 March 2019 (MDT)

Balance

This is an incredibly overpowered class you really need to tone down the feats. I feel like the heavy armor should be replaced with medium armor and the starting equipment should be less game breaking. It is all high tear stuff. --Catmanaz (talk) 13:39, 19 March 2019 (MDT) Edit: I would also change the hit die to a d6 because the ice barrier will not always roll high And so at early levels you will be easy pickings for even goblins. At later levels you most likely will not be able to stand toe to toe with other creatures unless you get really lucky
