About the size of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Stocky, feathered muscular frame, with powerful, feathered wings. Their appearance is similar to the metallic dragons of their ancestry, with their feathers being almost metallic. They come in the same types as the Metallic Dragons: Brass, Bronze, Copper, Gold, and Silver.

Much like its larger cousin, the owlbear, the owldragon seems to be the creation of someone with a twisted imagination. Larger than Pseudodragons but less clever, these ambush hunters often drop on to their prey from above slamming the prey to the ground then either clawing or biting the throat to finish it off. Living much like crows as solitary, pairs or small communities, this is very much a bird-like trait. However, they tend to live in habitats associated with their draconic ancestries (i.e. Brass coloured ones live near desert regions, etc.). They feed on whatever prey is available to them, as they are not fussy eaters. They could be trained with some effort, but they would need a relatively large amount of food.
