"I'll ask one last time, did you take my coin purse" asked the hunter. The beast crept closer to the thief. The thief obviously not wanting to claim his actions tried to deny the accusation and began to stammer "I-I am no theif". To which the Beast opened its mouth and a small girls voice come forth with one word "Lying".
A Lying beast is similar to a larger bulkier Goblin Hound. They have boney plate covered in thick leathery hide around the collar and down the spine. With Sharp teeth and a powerful frame, those who have a reason to lie to the lying beast don't stand much of a chance. Lying beasts have become domesticated social creatures, fighting along side most guardsmen rooting out criminals.
Combat
In combat Lying beasts try to trip and subdue their opponents, if fighting along side a master the lying beast will try to subdue unless told otherwise by the master.
Trip (ex): A lying beast that hits with a bite attack can attempt to trip its opponent as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the lying beast
