A frostflame reaver is a dichotomous creature: a massive hulk of ice with a roaring inferno raging within, slowly melting its frozen shell, while tongues of fire dance out from cracks in the ice. The ice shell must be reinforced regularly by being subjected to intense cold. Without reinforcement, the ice shell usually lasts a few weeks before melting. When the shell breaks, the conflagration within the frostflame reaver is released, alongside a blast of intensely cold wind. Elemental Nature. A frostflame reaver doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep. |
