In addition, the steam slitherer can enter a hostile creature's space and stop there.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The steam slitherer makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its tentacles.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.

Tentacles. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.

A steam slitherer is an elemental creature of steam that resembles a large snake with many wispy tendrils of superheated steam. A steam slitherer's insubstantial body is scalding hot to the touch, granting it the ability to burn those that would attack it at close range and slip through the tiniest of gaps. When it is destroyed, its body disperses, spraying steam all around itself.
A steam slitherer is intelligent and understands the value of precious things, often keeping things that it finds to be valuable in its lair: usually a hard-to-reach cranny in a cave or some other place where it can escape to using its ability to move through very small cracks.

Elemental Nature. A steam slitherer doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
