Staff, Very Rare (major) (Requires attunement by a spellcaster.) This golden staff was forged in order to aid wizards during war time. Charges This staff has 10 charges, and regains 1d10 charges at dawn. Defense As an action, you can expend charges to magically increase a creature's AC by 1 for every 2 charges spent. The creature's AC returns to normal at the start of your next turn. The creature must be within 30 ft of you and be within your line of sight. Shield As a reaction to being targeted by a creature, you can spend 5 charges to have the attack miss or pass the saving throw and take no damage. Offense As part of casting a spell, you can expend charges to increase the amount of damage dealt by the spell by 4 for every charge spent. |
