In addition, your ancestors were native to the Feywild, so you are considered a fey creature for the purpose of effects that relate to creature origin.
Spiderkissed: Lolthites like Lolth appear as ordinary Drow, but often reveal themselves to be horrendous Spiderlike creatures when prompted. Lolthites do not change form, however to many they appear like ordinary Drow, largely Drow females, due to an illusion casted which can be abruptly changed at will. However Lolthites are always spiderlike creatures. As a result, Lolthites have a climb speed of 6. While climbing, creatures that have a climb speed (such as monstrous spiders) use that speed, ignore difficult terrain, do not grant combat advantage because of climbing, and do not make Athletics checks to climb. In addition, you may triple the distance or height you can jump with any athletics check, and are always treated as if you have a running start. When in Drow form, lolthites appear to move unnaturally, and often as if they are floating due to the illusion.
Lolthite Illusion: Lolthites much like Lolth herself are hideous spiderlike creatures, with upper body like features of the Drow, often female, and a lower body of a Spider. However, Lolthites appear as if they are ordinary Drow, but can reveal themselves in the horrendous form they normally take. As a result, you gain the "Lolthite illusion" at-will power, which does not effect the character mechanically in any way but has effects for story purposes. You gain a +5 to skill checks related to attempts to see through the illusion.
Lolthite Venom: You gain the "Spiderkissed Venom" racial encounter power. You may use either Spiderkissed Venom or Lolthite web, but only one in a given encounter.

You gain a +5 bonus to contested rolls against any attempts to see through your illusion.

Physical Qualities[edit]

Lolthites ordinarily appear as Drow, often female, with above average appearance in terms of beauty and grace. However, when they choose, they can reveal this illusion to show their true form, a hideous beast, half spider and half Drow. While ordinarily taking the appearance of a standard Drow, Lolthites are actually drow from the waist up, and have large, hulking spider bodies from the waist down. These spider and drow features can take many form, and many species of spiders often represent the Lolthite race, however they most commonly appear as black widows. Lolthites are similar to centaur in that the top half is humanoid, and the lower half is animal in nature. Lolthite stand unusually tall and very wide given their spiderlike body, and are extraordinarily fast and graceful, capable of climbing walls or other obstacles with relative ease. Like spiders, they also can produce a toxic nerve poison and web, which can rapidly immobilize their opponents. Generally this poison is not lethal, as their purpose is to trap and cocoon their prey before eating them alive. Virtually all Lolthites regularly shift between an illusion of their Drow form and their spiderlike form, and their illusory powers allow them to maintain good graces with humanoid species, despite always possessing these half drow, half spider features. They can maintain this illusion even in their sleep, and under pressure, only being penetrated by those with the magical abilities to pierce their veil, or unusually keen insight. Lolthites are very similar to the Drow in terms of mannerism, behavior and appearance, but differ due to their inherent favoritism with Lolth.

Lolthites live about as long as Drow and have the same general aging characteristics, however they sometimes are known to be Immortal and live forever. Some are known to have lived almost as long as Lolth herself. Given their relative scarce appearance outside of the Underdark and Lolth's domain and relative inactivity even in Drow societies, they are confined almost entirely to very specific areas and therefore this tends to shape them. Most have many scars from prior battles with their sisters as they are pitted against one another for their master's delight, and most also have symbols etched in to their body to show reverence to Lolth. While all do not serve her and are not evil, the majority are expected to be Soldiers for her cause and this often influences their nature and appearance.

Lolthite are almost exclusively female, although some male versions exist, largely created to please Lolth and her followers by competing for them in combat or in other ways. Lolthite males are even more heavily abused than Drow males, and often times exist solely for the amusement of Lolth to be tortured. Many of these males take on the appearance of Corenth, her husband who spared her death after she turned to evil, and exist solely to be toyed with by Lolth and to make her husband suffer. Many male Lolthite make attempts to escape, and while most are often broken, some manage to flee to the outside world. They are rarely seen even by those in the Underdark and are even more rarely seen outside of it. Lolthite are virtually all female in practice, however some Lolthite females disguise themselves in the male form with their illusion, which often makes it easier for them to blend in as a warrior.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]

Lolthites exist almost universally as offspring of Lolth, and are her loyal soldiers which are often sicked upon the Drow people and others in the Underdark, even going so far as to having destroy entire cities in retaliation. As a result many are cruel, vicious and cunning, using their raw power and unnatural features to blend in to and destroy or manipulate Drow society. While virtually all Lolthites are loyal soldiers of Lolth, some manage to escape or break free from this life, and explore the surface world as other Drow do. Virtually indistinguishable from other Drow, they appear and act in a very similar manner, but often reveal themselves as hideous spider creatures at some point to their allies, alienating them. Lolthites exist for the sole purpose to rule the underdark and serve Lolth, and so when granted freedom often lack ambition, drive or purpose. They are in many way detached and confused by mortal life, and also do their best to blend in with large crowds. Drow are usually hated and seen as an evil race, and escape one persecution to find themselves in another. Lolthites unlike ordinary Drow tend not to become bitter over this, as they are used to being universally hated.

Most Lolthites that escaped the underdark are generally very curious, and try not to be cruel to other races in order to blend in or due to genuine affection for them. Like the Drow, love and affection are difficult for them and often trained out of them as children, only manifesting later when they escape. They are not devoid of empathy, morals or compassion, and many who escape are quite compassionate creatures, however they also tend to be rutheless, cunning and pragmatic, being intellectual but vicious enemies. Lolthites tend to be highly intelligent, well educated and trained heavily for combat. Most are aware of many religious and arcane practices of Lolth, and thus are as equally capable of magic as they are of fighting. Lolth priests are quite common and most have overarching spiritual connections. Lolthite are almost universally despised, and thus they take care not to reveal themselves in their true forms to anyone but their closest allies. Drow of whom they tend to spend most of their time around are often shocked and feel betrayed when Lolthites reveal their true form. Many suspect from the beggining they are not pure Drow, however this only further angers them upon reveal.

Lolthite Communities[edit]

Lolthite both coexist in Drow communities and are special soldiers by Lolth herself in the Underdark. Their communities tend to be hyper specific domains off limits to most mortals in the Under Dark, however, many wander in to Drow territory, and even fewer wander on to the surface. Lolthite when on the surface blend in to Drow community, and are often hated even among liberated Drow, who are pushed to their limits in acceptance. As a result Lolthites have a hard time being accepted and spend most of their time in hiding, under an illusion that allows them to appear and act to most humanoid creatures as simple Drow. Some may begin to notice strange movements or an unusual weight to Lolthites as they tend to be very heavy. Among their most trusted companions, Lolthites often reveal their true form, and are generally accepted as useful members of the team.

Lolthite Adventurers[edit]

Most Lolthite try to escape the oppressive nature of the Under Dark, and then must continue to hide their true form, to both avoid being hunted by Lolth's soldiers and hated by ordinary humanoid creature. As a result, Lolthite are often lonely and tired creatures, who seek out companionship with a close group of friends to become respected warriors and fighters which they were bread to be. Lolthite are generally naturally curious creatures and are instilled with a deep desire to fight, constantly seeking battle, making them ideal adventurer companions, aside from being universally hated when revealed in their true form.

Rogue: With Dexterity and Charisma, as well as very good mobility, Lolthites can easily perform as rogues, attacking either from a distance and from the shadows, or to move in close for the attack.

Sorcerer: Lolithites are naturally arcane creatures, and thus easily excel with magical and chaotic abilities, often eschewing more traditional magic and going towards the wild, uncontained powers. They make natural Sorcerers and Warlocks, although they can excel at being Wizard and Swordmages as well.

Cleric: Despite being seen as an unusually evil race, Lolthite are deeply religious and worship their God queen Lolth closely. As a result many become priests and develop powers for this. Lolthite often are very capable priestesses, and as a result often take to Divine Classes. With Charsima and Dexterity, they can even become Paladins, and easily can be leaders as Bards as well.

Roleplaying a Lolthite[edit]

When creating a Lolthite adventurer, here are a few points to consider.

Lolthite Prejudice: Lolthite are commonly hated, and must conceal their true form from the general public. Some environments are more accepting of Lolthite as are their close companions, and so Lolthites flee the oppression of the Underdark to have to hide their true idendities. Lolthites are natural liars, and do so as easily as they breathe, a necessity to blend in with humanoid communities. As a result Lolthite must commonly straddle the line between friend and enemy and conceal themselves from all strangers. Some Lolthite bravely take their true form in public, however this often draws a lot of ire and even attacks from the general public, especially Drow who are horrified to see what appear to be Lolth's loyal soldiers come to destroy them.

Lolthite Male Names: Lolthite can take any drow name. Lolthite are almost exclusively female, however in their illusion form they can appear as male. Common names include Xyndrizzar, Yathrin, Thalynar, Malvirion, Yvonnel, Tyrlindor, Vaelic, Zylindor, Sablethorn

Lolthite Female Names: Lolthite can take any drow name. Common names include Ahlysaaria, Akordia, Alaunirra, Chandara, Chenzira, Halisstra, Lythrana, Malice, Nathrae, Sassandra, Sindyrrith, Solenzara, Vornalla, and Waerva [1|https://www.dnd.kismetrose.com/DrowNameList.html]
