Armor (scale mail), legendary (major) (requires attunement)

This suit of magic scale mail armor is made from the shimmering golden scales of a legendary adamantium serpent. The armor consists of a coat, leggings, a separate skirt, along with a pair of gauntlets, all made of alchemically treated snake leather covered with overlapping pieces of hardened serpent scales. It was master-crafted by an unknown armorer from a lost age, obviously taking a pain-staking amount of time and effort to complete, and its construction is considered perfect. The scales used in its construction were from a giant serpent, which reinforced itself with adamantine by digesting small amounts of adamantine ore while it burrowed deep underground for over a century. The alchemically treated snake leather used in the armor's creation also came from the adamantium serpent, and allows it to have increased flexibility as well as being more quiet than other similar pieces of armor. The armor is also enchanted with special type of magic which allows the user to change the outward appearance of the armor at will.

You have a +3 bonus to AC while wearing this armor, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit, and you can apply your full Dexterity modifier, (instead of a maximum of +2), when determining your Armor Class. In addition, this armor does not impose disadvantage on your Dexterity (Stealth) checks. You can also use a bonus action to speak the armor's command word and cause the armor to assume the appearance of a normal set of clothing or some other kind of armor. You decide what it looks like, including color, style, and accessories, but the armor retains its normal bulk and weight. The illusory appearance lasts until you use this property again or remove the armor.
