Avoidance. If Taskaldron is subjected to an effect that allows them to make a saving throw to take only half damage, they instead takes no damage if they succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if they fail.

Spellcasting. Taskadron is a 16th-level spellcaster. Their spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). Taskaldron has the following cleric spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): guidance, light, mending, sacred flame, thaumaturgy
1st level (4 slots): command, create or destroy water, detect magic, purify food and drink
2nd level (3 slots): augury, calm emotions, protection from poison, silence
3rd level (3 slots): clairvoyance, dispel magic, remove curse
4th level (3 slots): banishment, control water
5th level (2 slots): commune, hallow
6th level (1 slot): forbiddance, heroes' feast
7th level (1 slot): plane shift, symbol
8th level (1 slot): antimagic field, control weather

Thanasia's Best Friend. When Taskaldron is killed, they resurrect after 30 days, regaining all their hit points and becoming active again. Taskaldron reassembles their body when they resurrects.

Turn Immunity. Taskaldron is immune to effects that turn undead.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Taskaldron regains hit points equal to the necrotic damage they dealt.

Taskaldron can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Taskaldron regains spent legendary actions at the start of their turn.

Flight. Taskaldron flies up to half their flying speed.
Cantrip. Taskaldron casts a cantrip.
Spell (Costs 2 Actions). Taskaldron casts a spell from their list of prepared spells, using a spell slot as normal.

At first glance, Taskaldron appears to be a lich who forgot to feed on sacrificed soul since the dawn of Neutrala. The only body part left for Taskaldron is half a skull, which is so severely battered and weathered to the point that it fails to provide any information concerning Taskaldron's former race and gender, other than that they at least used to be a humanoid. However, despite their lack of desire to feed on others' souls, Taskaldron is fully functional as a lich, and even shows benevolence who does not intend to harm them.

The Talkative Undead. "Loquacious" defines Taskaldron like nothing else. For an undead soul, Taskaldron never misses a chance for a chit-chat. Taskaldron shows a wide knowledge over multitudes of fields, even providing clear and picturesque descriptions on certain historical events, as if they were right there at the moment. The problem with Taskadron's tales is that they never know when to stop. Since their telepathy serves them in lieu of their nonexistent vocal cord, one has to sit through Taskaldron's endless stream of stories until they finally take a pause and help themself for a cup of tea.

Best Friend of Thanasia? Taskaldron is the only known active worshipper of Thanasia, the Neutralan Goddess of Death. Taskaldron refers to themself as "Thanasia's best friend", and claims that they and Thanasia have a good time or two for a nice cup of tea. It does not help that Taskadron's eccentric and loquacious behavior projects their sanity rather questionable to spectators.

Oxymoronic Undeath Hater. Taskaldron is disgusted at the concept of resurrection, reincarnation, and undeath, while themself is apparently an undead. "It's just me," Taskaldron assures anyone who comes up with the subject matter, "I mean, Thanasia says she's cool with it, it's that just she's disappointed to miss a good tea with someone nice and all. But me? Oh, dear, please. The very idea of undeath shivers my spines. Not that I have any, though." Then they chuckle.

Undead Nature. Taskaldron doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
