Sigil en Din (3.5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Sigil en Din: This dagger looks like a normal dagger you would see in everyday stores, a bit worn down through the ages, but it has an inscription saying "Sigil en Din" on one side of the blade. Upon picking up the dagger, the wielder hears a voice whisper in Elven:
Hardness 10. 1d4 piercing or slashing damage. 1 lb. 10 ft range. critical 19-20/x2. Simple Light Thrown.
"Sometimes you feel it weigh a ton. Yet it is nothing, but somehow still there. Makes you uncomfortable around anyone, but speak its name and it's gone."
When the world "silence" is uttered by the wielder, the dagger forms a thin fog of darkness around the wielder, giving them:
+10 to Hide, +5 to Balance, +5 to Disguise, +10 to Move Silently, +5 to Sleight of Hand
If the wielder can do a sneak attack, if they use it while in this fog, it adds 1d6 to the attack. This effect lasts for 1d6 hours, or until the wielder says a word, or attacks. The effect can only be activated once per day.
The name of this dagger is in Elven, meaning "Dagger of the Silence"
