This shield covers the entire arm, and is comprised of thick steel plates. It is designed to be used both defensively and offensively. It can be used as a melee weapon that inflicts 1d4 bludgeoning damage, and doing so does not forfeit its bonus to AC. Some gauntlets have blades or spikes attached to change the damage type.
Special. This shield can be used in dual wielding, since it has the light property.
