Nicodemus (Raesokera Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
Nicodemus, chiropteran god of sorcery
Alignment. Neutral Good
Domains. Knowledge, Arcana
Divine Rank. Greater Deity
Nicodemus is the chief diety of the study of arcane magic in Raesokera. He is seen more as a role model and advisor than as a figure for worship for those who follow him. He was among the first to join the Raesokeran pantheon after he was able to improvise a complex arcane ritual to calm the first scar created during the chiropteran cataclysm.
Nicodemus represents the careful study of arcane magic and all knowledge. His principles are anchored in logic and careful planning in order to minimize the risk to all involved in the study of the arcane. Obtaining new magical knowledge always has risks, but he will never condone multi member rituals without understanding all possible effects and consequences.
