Wondrous Item, artifact

this item is an ancient object from the height of illithid rule, but now sits undisturbed in a dusty corner in the underdark. it reseambles a large illithid head, with four tentacles wrapping around a stone basin in front. where the illithids brain would be, there is a slot roughly the size of a human brain. the device appears to run on a combination of aberrant sorcery, psionic energy, and genius engineering.
Random Properties. The Mentalurgy has the following random properties:
purify at any time, you may place a humanoid brain inside the slot. the mentalurgy will immediately activate, the slot closing. after around sixty seconds, the tentacles will leak one ounce of glowing bluish liquid. this liquid is called fluid intelligence (see potions for information on fluid intelligence)
