“Hey, get a load of this old geezer.” “Jeez I can’t even count the number of wrinkles on this guy he must have been riding dinosaurs in his youth.” “I do have a fond memory of riding on my parent Megalosaurasapian when I was a hatchling." "Huh?"

As the young Ankylosapian broke his hecklers barstools and plodded out of the tavern, a smile on his face, tail swaying behind him.

Physical Description[edit]

Credit to

Megalosaurasapians' appearances are very much the same as lizard folk, but with each sub-species having distinct features from claws instead of hands like the Raptorsapians to the hard, spines covering the back of a Stegosapian. They have a humanoid shape and vary in size because of the variety of sub-species there are, though all of them have tails. Some have monstrous jaws filled with teeth, others a bird like beak, this usually dictates also their eating habits. They are mostly of average intelligence, but some have not strayed far from their primal roots and find communication difficult if not impossible, communicating through a series of clicking, screeching sounds and body language but they all understand common languages.

The origin of the Megalosaurasapians are generally unknown, but there are different theories, depending on who you ask. Most Megalosaurasapians claim to have been created before all other intelligent races but in a more primitive form and that over the many years of watching the more intelligent races at the time and decided it was time to ‘evolve’. So they became the humanoid reptiles that are seen today. They also claim that other of their kind wished not become like the others who wished to be human and thus the dragons of the modern age were evolved from them. Some people say that they are simply reincarnations of dragons who were envious of the human form in their past life, and earned the rights with their deities to become of in the same form as them, as then as they populated the land in their new form, these past lives were forgotten. Scholars have attempted to understand ancient tomes that spoke of creatures that sound like the Megalosaurasapians, but as they are in an indecipherable language and are too damaged to properly translate, science has had no luck in discovering the true origins of the Megalosaurasapians.

Megalosaurasapians are either from their own tribes in the wilds or live in the bustling cities and towns. The ones that hail from or choose to live in tribes are the ones that believe that society has no place for them and generally spite their ancestors who chose to take on a humanoid form, or so they believe. They tend to outcast all other society and live like the beasts that they believe they should be. The ones who live in the city with society are grateful of the acceptance of their kinds into the places where they live, and are grateful for their ancestors’ decision to take on a humanoid form. They are usually very kind and open, and enjoy the world around them as it is and what the world has to offer.
