Saving Throws Str +8, Con +8 Shapechanger. The apostle can use its action to polymorph into its apostle form, or back into its false form, which is humanoid. While in its apostle form, its size becomes Large. Its statistics, other than its AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. Keen Hearing and Smell. The apostle has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell. ACTIONSMultiattack (Apostle Form Only). The apostle makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 piercing damage in humanoid form, or 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage in apostle form. Claws (Apostle Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (2d4 + 4) slashing damage.

A relatively common form of apostle, every hound apostle was once a normal human, but was turned when, in their darkest moment, they sacrificed the person closest to them to the God Hand, gaining power considered immense to humanity, but pitiful to other apostles. |
