High Champion of Avanyar[edit]

Of the soldiers of the high elven court of Avanyar, there are commanders whose battle prowess and tactics have given them insight into the finer points of warfare. These commanders are called the High Champions of Avanyar. They inspire courage in their allies and fear into the enemies of elvenkind.

Becoming a High Champion of Avanyar[edit]

High Champions of Avanyar come from exclusively from the ranks of Marshals or multiclassed Marshals.

Entry Requirements
Race: Elf or Half Elf.
Skills: 10 Ranks Diplomacy, 7 Ranks Knowledge(Royalty and Nobility), 7 Ranks Bluff, 10 Ranks Intimidate.
Feats: Leadership.
Special: Must know 4 minor auras, must be a member of the High Knights of Avanyar with distinction in battle.

Bluff, Diplomacy, Handle Animal, Intimidate, Knowledge(Royalty and Nobility), Listen, Ride, Sense Motive, Search, Spot, Survival, Swim.

Epic Champion of Avanyar gains a bonus feat 4 levels after 10. Graceful Tongue increases 2 levels after 10.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the High Champion of Avanyar.

Extend Aura: At level 1 a High Champion of Avanyar can project his aura at a greater distance than most marshals. Auras are projected out to 90 feet.

Graceful Tongue: At level 2, the speech and social abilities of a High Champion of Avanyar improve. Bluff, diplomacy, and intimidate skills gain a +1 bonus. This bonus increases by one at every two levels (4,6,8,10,ext).

Gather Army: You gain more followers than a regular leader. At level 3, you have 50% more followrs than what is normally allotted by the leadership feat. At level 7 your followers are doubled.

Dual Aura: At level 5, you can project two minor auras simultaneously. At level 7, you can project two major auras. No more than 3 auras can be projected at the same time (ie 2 minor and 1 major or 2 major and one minor).

Inspired Lieutenant: Your cohort can be a level below you regardless of your leadership score.

Force of Personality: The mere force of a Champion of Avanyar's personality can turn the tide of battle. Once per day as a free action you can add your charisma modifier to your major auras. This is a supernatural ability that last one minute per charisma modifier.

Playing a High Champion of Avanyar[edit]

A high charisma is desired to play a High Champion of Avanyar. He is essentially an elven marshal.

Combat: Secondary warrior, support warrior, buffer.

Advancement: As you rise, expect your order will need your assistance in the defense of the elves. You can also call upon the aid of your fellow elves more readily.

Resources: You can rent goods from this organization. Also items cost 10% less than market price.
