Former domain[edit]
d6 | Former domain |
---|---|
1 | Life/Death (Protection/Love/Pain/Famine, etc...-) |
2 | Sentient concept (Forge/Art/Trickery, etc...) |
3 | Ancient One (an ancient being, essentially a "Great Old One" patron, but you can be also a timeless being) |
4 | Nature |
5 | Power/War |
6 | Knowledge/Arcane |
d6 | Reason I fell |
---|---|
1 | Over the years, the race that worshipped me forgot I existed. |
2 | I was thrown out of my domain, perhaps by a more powerful being, or an uprising of my celestial underlings. |
3 | I found myself in an unfamiliar sack of flesh with no idea of what happened. |
4 | While I was looking towards other matters, the practitioners of my worship became corrupt, and my name was purged with them. |
5 | I voluntarily went into exile. |
6 | I wanted to see the worlds from the eyes of a mortal, with no idea of what I was getting into, and lost my divine power in the process. |
Feature: Raw unbound power[edit]
You were a being of pure power, but you somehow lost it and you're now empty of what made you a God. You're naturally attracted to what could grant you some of your former power (that being a magical object, a temple, a magic-filled place or something else you can decide with your D.M.) The attraction you feel is so strong that everyone can see it and understand the degree of your desire.
Alternate Feature: Pure divine Frenzy[edit]
Your mere presence intimidates everyone around you, excluding your party. When they first meet you everyone has a feeling that something wrong is happening, that something or someone unnatural is there judging them. They'll do everything in their power to end their interaction with you, even if that means giving you a discount or (in some cases) fight you or giving their life to you.
Alternate Feature: Lingering Religion[edit]
The pantheon that worshipped you may still exist. If so, they may offer you sanctuary, so long as you join in the worship of their deities. On some occasions, they will shelter you (but not your heretical comrades) from the law, although they will not fight to defend you.
