Lesser version of the Thri-Keen, these small, insectoid beings infest the throngs of sandstone steppes in the deserts. They have a red, sandy carapace and wield sharpened rocks of sandstone. In desert settlements they are pitted together in sport and bet on, the most effective fighters are prized and go for many thousands of dollars.
DC Nature 10: Duo-Keen are not intelligent, and are often struck by surprise and wonder when they encounter something icy or cold.
