Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: This thing is just disgusting. It is so ridiculous that my initial instinct is to smite it with a delete template. I don't know how to balance 3.5, somebody else do that, but I can at least rip out some of the truly terrible stuff.

A Draconic-Demon(Devil) varies between all things mainly depending on their background where and how they grew up. Many abandoned young to be raised by other species while some raised by their own kin.

Physical Description[edit]

Many of the Physical traits would depend on which parent it was born of and which traits you wish to provide. Demon mother (D&D specific Demon Lords can be used, but MUST hold traits of mother or father) born from a womb possibly ripping her from the inside at birth to be released into the world.. Dragon mother would be more born of Egg, but in what plain or temple would depend on backstory.


If raised by demons in hell they would despise all other mortal races, but possibly could be excellent spies able to blend in due to dragon traits. If raised by any other race would adapt more toward their hatred of others.


All around type due to dragons blood which falls under good and evil depending on which. Mainly focused more toward evil due to demon blood.


It's said dragons roam all plains and there is not a land without at least one demon. The birth of this child is very rare and almost unheard of.


Known to bow to no deity they have been known to act religious to blend in, but would hold no guilt to slay a higher power. Though when born have been said sway toward Devils or Deity's for favors in possessions for souls and safeguards. Depending on who raised by they have learned and possibly met specific gods if not summoned one themselves to make deal even promise not to pursue. (Example: Wanting their soul to go to a specific plane upon dying and allowing for resurrection)


Main Language is Common, but find themselves with the natural ability to also speak Draconic and Abyssal while being able to learn others. Celestrial IF learned can cause headaches and sickness due to demon blood unless obtained from a Fallen.


Names fall under given parents, but are mainly known as abominations

Racial Traits[edit]

  • Ability Traits +4 Strength, +2 Dex, +2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence, +2 Wisdom, +4 Charisma - Strength Mod due to Dragon aspect along with Constitution. Demons are natural with Dark Magic, but are not prone to holding that power long except by seduction to hold their prays mind at bay.
  • Size: Medium
  • Land Speed 50 Feet
  • Flight Speed: 50 Feet with Good Maneuverability (+14-18 Dex) 60 Feet with Excellent (19-24 Dex) 75 Feet PERFECT (25+) Until Excellent climate still will effect flight.
  • Low-Light Vision: A Demon can see 70 feet in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. He or she retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
  • Darkvision: Royal Demon Bloodline can see in complete darkness. Complete darkness is seen as if a perfectly lit environment.. (Only after Level 10) Contrary to expectations, he or she retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
  • Increase a Dragon-Born's class hit die by one die size, to a maximum of d12.
  • Scent Ability
  • Gate: Royal Demon Bloodline can open a gate to the underworld
  • +2 Bonus to a skill (dependent upon coloration). Parent Dragon as a whole garner different skills as referenced by their habits, and personalities.
  • Breath Weapon (Su): Breath Weapon which deals 1d4/level, with a 1d4+1 recharge rate. The range of the ability is in Cone 30. The Breath Weapon's damage-type corresponds to the Dragon's elemental immunity. (Example: Red Dragon breathes Fire.) However, the Metallic dragons have a secondary Breath Weapon, you make the choice between which breath weapon your dragon posesses at 1st Level, and this choice remains.
  • Knowledge: Demons gain a +5 to all Knowledge Religion checks.
  • Sickened: Immunity to be Sickened
  • Unholy: All Demons may choose to make any and all of their damage of the Unholy Subtype.
  • Automatic Languages: Common, Draconic, Abyssal [Infernal for Devil]. Bonus Languages: Any, Except Celestial unless learned from a Fallen
  • +2 racial bonus on Bluff, Sense Motive, Intimidate, Move Silently, Hide, Spot, and Listen checks.
  • Favored Class: Any
  • Level Adjustment: 4


  • +2 to AC if chosen to have body covered in scales due to Dragon Trait.
  • A +10 to Intimidate. The Intimidate skill is a considered a class skill. If already a class skill add a +3 to Intimidate checks. (Roll Percent Die: Dependent on looks if DM applies appearance Uglier=higher stat.. More Good Looking -1 for every 10%..)(Example: Ugly 10% appearance would equal +14 Intimidate -- Sexy 100% appearance would equal +4)(If no Intimidate class skill +10 down to +1)
  • The Intimidate skill can be used with the Strength Modifier rather than the Charisma Modifier.
  • Negate 25% of Unholy Damage, and take an additional 25% Holy Damage.
  • Immunity to Non-magical disease and Resist 10 of either electicity/cold/acid. * Energy/Ability Drain/Damage. * All Mental Effects * Transmutation (petrification/polymorph)
  • Immunity to sleep and paralysis effects, as well as an additional immunity based on its dragon variety (see table below).
  • Fear Aura: Any creature Hostile to the Draconic-Demon that starts its turn within 10 feet of the Draconic-Demon must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw, unless the Draconic-Demon is Incapacitated. On a failed save, the creature is Frightened until the start of its next turn. If a creature's saving throw is successful, the creature is immune to the draconic-demons's Fear Aura for the next 24 hours.
  • +4 racial bonus on Climb and Jump checks due to their physical abilities.
  • +2 racial bonus on Fortitude saves due to their tough bodies.
