Beast (5e Background)
From D&D Wiki
In life, you were a beast or monster, like a wolf or a bear. But something changed in your life, uplifting you from your animalistic nature to human-like sentience. You still look like a beast for the most part, though your body has changed somewhat, but the animalistic variations of your race still identify you as one of theirs.
Skill Proficiencies: Pick two: Nature, Survival, Animal Handling, Perception
Tool Proficiencies: Herbalism Kit
Languages: One language shared by your beastly kin, or one of your choice if they do not have one
Equipment: Torn, tattered Common Clothes, and a beastly trinket of your choice
Feature: Beast's Nature
When in terrain that is similar to your natural habitat, you can seek out and supply food and shelter for five people, including yourself. Additionally, your beastly kin usually will not attack you unless provoked. This benefit does not apply to your allies, though you may be able to convince your beastly kin to let them pass unharmed.
