Becoming a Arcanii[edit]
One simply does not become an Arcanii. The legendary members of the Arcanii are drafted out of the Battlemage Corp in the Theodian Miltaty. Only the battlemages who have proven themselves in battle are even considered, and only the best of those make it past the highly secretive iniation. Most oftern, Arcanii are Fighter/Wizards or Fighter/Sorcerers, as they are the norm for a battlemage. Occasionaly a Ranger/Sorcerer will make it in, and there are also a precious few Bards. Arcanii spellcasting builds of the previous class, so a high Charisma or Intelligence is a must. Arcanii also benefit from a high Strength and Constitution to aid them in combat.

Class Features[edit]
All of the following are class features of the Arcanii.
Spellcasting: At 1st level, and every other level afterwords, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a Arcanii, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.
Armored Mage: Upon taking levels in Arcanii, a spellcaster no longer suffers arcane spell failure while casting in Light Armor. At 5th level, this abilty extends to Medium Armor.
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting: An Arcanii gains Improved Two-Weapon Fighting as a bonus feat.
Greater Two-Weapon Fighting: An Arcanii gains Greater Two-Weapon Fighting as a bonus feat.
Arcane Supremacy (Sp): An Arcanii of this level has mastered his magic and gained incredible insight into defeating the enemies of the Emperor, regardless of who or what those may be. Once per day, as a free action, an Arcanii can change the saving throw of any spell he casts to a different type. For example, an Arcanii could cast a [fireball] spell, but make the saving throw a will instead of a reflex.
Ex-Arcanii[edit]
Any Arcanii that cease to become Lawful or who become Evil are immediatly stripped of their rank and can no longer progress in the Arcanii class, unless they Atone (you guys know how it goes).
Campaign Information[edit]
Playing an Arcanii[edit]
Combat: An Arcanii is a beautiful mix of sword and spell, and should be treated as such. They should be in the front line, where they can do the most damage, but be cautious. They have lower hit die than the fighters, and usually suffer from low Armor Class.
Advancement: Arcanii normally stay Arcanii, but a few levels in fighter never hurt anyone.
Resources: Arcanii can normally be found in small groups (1-3) scattered about Theodia, and are always willing to help a fellow out. Arcanii are a secret(ish) organization though, so many don't go around asking for handouts
