Aarakocra Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Age. Aarakocra reach maturity by age 5. Compared to humans, aarakocra don’t usually live longer than 50 years.
Alignment. Most aarakocra are good and rarely choose sides when it comes to law and chaos. Tribal leaders and warriors might be lawful, while explorers and adventurers might tend toward chaotic.
Size. Aarakocra are about 5 feet tall. They have thin, lightweight bodies that weigh between 80 and 100 pounds. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is <speed> feet. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Flight. You have a flying speed of 50 feet. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Ostrich[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1
Flightless. Your wings are not powerful enough to take to the skies, instead your legs have become stronger allowing you to run farther than your aerial counterparts. Your movement speed is increased by 60 feet, though you lose all flying speed.
Massive Legs. You have long, power legs, capable of kicking some teeth in. You can use them to deal an unarmed strike that deals 1d6+Str mod
Basically a horse. You stand much bigger and taller than those around you allowing you to carry others on your back. At the expense of half your movement speed, you may carry a medium or smaller creature on your back.

Macaw[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1
Mimicry. You can mimic sounds you have heard, including voices. A creature that hears the sounds you make can tell they are imitations with a successful Wisdom (Insight) check opposed by your Charisma (Deception) check.
Potty Mouth. Through listening to many different conversations you've learned how to sling insults like its another language. At 2nd level you can cast Vicious Mockery twice every short or long rest.

Penguin[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1
Flightless.. In place of wings you have a set of flippers and a very sleek and slick body that grants you a great adaptation to swimming. You now have a swimming speed of 50 feet instead of a flight speed.
Thick downy feathers. You are acclimated to cold weather and gain resistance to cold damage.
Belly Slide. When you are in an area of snowy or icy terrain (even if considered difficult terrain) you can take the dash action (using your swimming speed) by sliding on your belly to ignore the movement speed debuff.
