Defensive Stance [Fighter Bonus, Defensive, Class, Stance]
You can divert your strength and dexterity from your attacks to focus on your defense.
Benefit: In melee combat, you may adopt a special defensive stance allowing you to add half your Strength or Dexterity bonus, round down, to your AC (minimum of 1). Your Strength and Dexterity modifier for your own melee attacks, however, is then reduced by half (and by one quarter for your off-hand weapon).
Special: You may only use defensive stance while fighting defensively. In addition to the normal feat slot, a fighter must spend 250 XP and 2 weeks in training in order to learn this feat. A fighter who spends 500 XP and 4 weeks in training, does not suffer the Strength and Dexterity penalty to melee attacks
