This ring seems to be made of a burnished steel, until you put it on. The metal of the ring changes color to suit your mood, and you feel a strange force exhuding from the ring.

When worn, this ring has a remarkable ability to change color to tell the mood of its wearer. Usually silver, it will change color immediately when put on or when the wearer's mood changes. This ring cannot be fooled by usual means, requiring a DC 50 Use Magic Device check to make the ring believe you are in a specific mood.

When the ring changes to the color of its wearer's mood, it gains different abilities and properties, depending on the mood its wearer is in. Each mood and the abilities that correspond to it are listed in the table below. All spells are cast at caster level 20.

Color Mood Effects
Yellow Happy Can cast mass charm monster and irresistible dance, both heightened to 9th level, at will.
Blue Sad Can cast crushing despair, heightened to 9th level, and wail of the banshee at will.
Green Afraid Can cast sanctuary, heightened to 9th level, and prismatic sphere at will.
Red Enraged Can cast disintegrate, maximized, and meteor swarm at will.

Prerequisites: Forge Ring, Heighten Spell, Maximize Spell, crushing despair, disintegrate, irresistible dance, mass charm monster, meteor swarm, prismatic sphere, sanctuary, wail of the banshee.

Cost to Create: 1,539,000 gp; 123,120 XP; 3,078 days.
