“Water is the source of life. From above, the rains. From below, the springs.” ~The Rainbow Serpent

The Rainbow Serpent is a wise, kind-hearted being who only wishes for peace for the innocent. She created many of the rivers and springs that help give this world life. she is hesitant to take the lives of mortals regardless of their alignment. The only times she will interfere with the doings of mortals is when the existence of an entire species is in danger.

The Rainbow Serpent resides in the Rainbow Realm; a small dimension where she is the only resident. It’s a place filled with vibrant colors. The only other people who can enter are those the Rainbow Serpent wishes to bestow wisdom upon. Her realm is the only place where she can speak directly to others. Outside her realm; she communicates by bestowing non-verbal visions upon her clerics.

A giant serpent whose body glows different colors of the rainbow. Shifting from one color to the next.

The Rainbow Serpent lives isolated within her realm. She rarely interacts with the other deities.

The Rainbow Serpent is worshipped mainly by the Kulipari (5e Race) They worship her by maintaining piece in the Amphibilands and making sure that all adjacent kingdoms have access to their water source, which spans to the other kingdoms through rivers and underground springs. The Kulipari’s main places of worship are deep within caves where they write records and prophecies of the Rainbow Serpent.

The Rainbow Serpent chooses those who are strong, kind-hearted, and capable of leadership to become her clerics. She communicates with her clerics through colorful visions that vaguely depict future events to help them know where their destiny leads. She will usually choose a cleric when there is a war or drought of some sort. She has been known to choose clerics for other reasons though.

This deity is based on a character bearing the same name in the tv series called Kulipari: An Army of Frogs which can be seen on Netflix. Her character is also inspired by a real world deity commonly referred to as Wagyl and Wuagyl from aboriginal Australia.
