Qepltep (5e Deity)
Qepltep[edit]
Alignment. Chaotic Good
Domains. Trickery
Divine Rank. Lesser Deity
Qepltep is the goddess of mischief and fire in the trifadishti pantheon. She is a bald dark skinned woman dressed in a singed fine dress with red eyes and a tall headdress which is always on fire. As her domains suggest, she is mischievous and playful in temperament but she always means well.
Qepltep's followers are generally people that have scorned by society or rejected. The poor, lame, and otherwise impaired or unlucky make up the bulk of her following. She does not condone thievery, however she is the most forgiving of the gods in this area and many of her followers are thieves from poverty, not choice. Qepltep is also considered to be the goddess who gave fire to mortality and she often uses analogies connecting to flames and heat.
Qepltep is the only deity that specifically has churches in the worst sections of the worst towns. Her churches are generally no more than wooden shacks with a small podium and a few seats. Candles are lit at every church service which are carved in her image and even with this meager church, Qepltep has some of the highest attendance and some of the most loyal followers of all deities in the pantheon.
